Basic Setup
Install the required packages:
sudo apt-get install apache2 php php-mysql php-curl libapache2-mod-php php-opcache php-gettext
Configure Apache
Open the following file:
nano /etc/apache2/sites-available/default
And edit it as shown here:
Restart the apache service:
systemctl restart apache2
Configure PHP
Open the php.ini file:
nano /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini
